Lilienthal Strokes 5 Hits Wednesday, May 8th , 2024 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Fresno Running Rebels center fielder Eric Lilienthal, who missed the team's pre-game session at Alcoa Grounds but peppered the Alcoa Millionaires for 5 hits come game time. The Running Rebels went on to grab the 11-7 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Eric Lilienthal singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. View Boxscore View Game Log |
