Micah Gibson Sidelined for Season Wednesday, July 6th , 2022 Micah Gibson has to call it a season. The Vail Tigercats reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Cincinnati Bombardiers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Gibson was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. So far this season, in 5 relief appearances Gibson has compiled an ERA of 3.27. He has pitched 11 innings, struck out 7, walked 6 and registered no saves. |
