Chris Fuller Sidelined for Season
Monday, May 6th , 2024
The doctors have spoken and Chris Fuller of the Vermont Milkmen didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Fuller sustained his season-ending injury during the St. Louis Cavalry game yesterday at Emeralds Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Vermont medical staff reported Fuller had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months.
On his stats sheet for the year Fuller shows a 1-1 record, 5 starts, 27.1 innings, 20 strikeouts and a 4.94 ERA.
