Harris's Season Could be Over
Monday, July 4th , 2022
The season is finished for Michael Harris of the St. Louis Cavalry. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Cavalry right fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases in a recent game against the Vail Tigercats. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal.
For the season, Harris is hitting at a .251 clip with 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and has scored 40 runs. He has 68 hits, 38 walks and a .345 on-base percentage.
