Western AA Winner is Tibbits Monday, July 4th , 2022 Phil Tibbits demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Western AA Player of the Week Award. The London first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (9-for-18) with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Tibbits is hitting .453 with 8 home runs, 14 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 64 at-bats and a .539 OBP. |
