Porter Nabs W-AA #1 Pitcher Trophy Friday, July 1st , 2022 It doesn't happen often, but it did in June. A reliever, Chris Porter, is the recipient of the Western AA Pitcher of the Month award. The Royals bullpen ace starred with 10 saves in 12 relief appearances with a 2-0 record, logging 13.2 innings, 11 strikeouts, 5 walks and a 0.00 ERA. This season, Porter has accumulated 22 saves, registered a 1.72 ERA and struck out 31 in 36.2 innings. He also has a 3-3 record in 30 relief appearances. |
