W-AA Player of the Week Goes to Hernandez of St. Louis Monday, September 6th , 2021 Alex Hernandez has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 24-year-old first baseman of the St. Louis Cavalry had a hot bat in the Western AA over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors. Hernandez batted .429 with 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far this season, Hernandez is batting .300 with 18 home runs, 45 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 77 hits in 257 at-bats, 18 walks and a .345 OBP. Hernandez has played in 82 games. |
