Sonoma Scorpions Clinch First in Western AA Central Division Saturday, September 4th , 2021 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Sonoma Scorpions clubhouse, after the team clinched the Western AA Central Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Elias Nunez. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 94-42 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 3rd World Series championship. Starting Pitcher Brian Hayden said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 5th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
