Gone Again! 3 HR for Hardy Sunday, August 25th , 2019 Cincinnati Bombardiers left fielder Thomas Hardy had a magnificent game against the Hialeah Firecats today, rocketing three balls out of Firecats Ballpark to help the Bombardiers take the 9-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Hardy went 4-for-6 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Cincinnati manager Hermenegildo Fernando said later. "Seems like Thomas found his home run stroke today." Thomas Hardy hit a solo-shot off Mike Embrey in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mike Embrey in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Embrey in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. So far on the season Hardy is hitting .297 with 18 home runs, 66 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has 148 hits and played in 124 games. |
