Perez Earns W-AA Top Pitcher Trophy Wednesday, September 1st , 2021 Cincinnati's Jose Perez put together one of the most consistent stretches of his career in August to earn the Western AA Pitcher of the Month trophy. Perez was tough out of the pen, holding the opposition to a .236 batting average in 29 innings. For the month he had a 4-0 record, struck out 23 and collected 2 saves in 4 relief appearances.
