Tim Miller Injured, Out for Year
Tuesday, August 20th , 2019
Miami first baseman Tim Miller could miss the remainder of the season because of a broken bone in the elbow. He exited yesterday's St. Louis game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Miller would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This season Miller has hit at a .265 clip with 12 RBIs, 2 home runs and 8 runs scored.
