Hurler Accepts W-AA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 19th , 2019 The outstanding player in the Western AA this week was a pitcher. Tyler Lester of the Sonoma Scorpions outdistanced all challengers by leading his team to 2 wins in 2 starts. Last week he had a 2-0 won-lost mark with a solid 0.00 ERA, good enough stats to claim the Player of the Week trophy. This year Lester has recorded a 8-10 mark. In 24 starts he has fanned 183 batters in 140.2 innings with a 3.65 ERA. |
