Razor Sharks Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 17th , 2019 The efforts of the Mesa Razor Sharks weren't consistent enough this season to have any real shot at making the playoffs. And now they have been officially and mathematically eliminated from the postseason chase. The Razor Sharks have made the playoffs 7 times in their 20 years as a ABA Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2012. In the last 10 seasons, the Razor Sharks have made the playoffs 2 times. Mesa last won the World Series in 2003. |
