Rotters Alcantara Raps 3 Homers

Riverside Rotters bombardier Juan Alcantara set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club beat the Washington Wildthings, 8-4.
"I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Alcantara told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it."
For the game, the Riverside center fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs.
Juan Alcantara hit a solo-shot off Ken Hicks in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Tomas de la Rosa in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Ian Hobby in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
So far this season, Alcantara is batting .285 with 11 home runs, 42 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 214 at-bats, 30 walks and a .374 OBP. Alcantara has played in 55 games.
