Firecats Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 14th , 2021 The Hialeah Firecats can give up their playoff chase and focus on simply winning some games, because today it became official that they have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Firecats have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 22 years as a ABA Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2013. In the last 10 seasons, the Firecats have only made the playoffs once. |
