League Gives Capen and Jordan 5-Game Suspensions

Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Winchester and Rohnert Park game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. John Capen of the Mountaineers and Caleb Jordan of the Cougars have now been reprimanded and issued 5-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas.
For the year, Capen has hit at a .263 clip with 18 RBIs, 6 home runs and 22 runs scored.
To date this year, he has registered no saves, 1 win and 2 losses with a 9.82 ERA. Jordan has made 19 relief appearances, worked a total of 25.2 innings and surrendered 39 hits. He has fanned 24, issued 17 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .351 batting average.
