Star of the Week Selected in W-AA Monday, August 2nd , 2021 J.J. Hassell is respected by most Hamilton Bulldogs fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Western AA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .391 average (9-for-23) with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Hassell has hit at a .249 clip with 50 RBIs, 17 home runs and 45 runs scored. |
