Carter Pounds W-AA Pitchers This Week Monday, July 29th , 2019 A hot-hitting week got Trey Carter the Western AA Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Hialeah third baseman slammed them for a .524 average, 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In the postgame press conference, Carter shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." For the season Carter is hitting .256, batted in 39 runs with 14 home runs and 40 runs scored. |
