Western AA Names Alcorn Best Batter Monday, June 12th , 2023 Josh Alcorn has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 22-year-old third baseman of the Augusta Capitols had a hot bat in the Western AA over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors. Alcorn batted .481 with 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. This year, Alcorn has hit at a .304 clip with 33 RBIs, 8 home runs and 32 runs scored. |
