Year Ends for Bill Devencenzi in London Sunday, July 21st , 2019 The doctors have spoken and Bill Devencenzi of the London Tigers didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Devencenzi sustained his season-ending injury during the Cincinnati Bombardiers game yesterday at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the London medical staff reported Devencenzi had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months. |
