Polecats Chris Degen Will Miss Season Monday, July 19th , 2021 Chris Degen has to call it a season. The Libertyville Polecats reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Winchester Mountaineers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Degen was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months. So far this year, Degen has been credited with no saves, registered a 3.10 ERA and struck out 16 in 29 innings. He also has a 3-2 record. |
