Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Costello Sunday, July 11th , 2021 Hamilton lost to the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 5-1, at Ballpark of Stockton, but Mike Costello kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Bulldogs right fielder has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Mike has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Hamilton manager Armando Cisneros told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Mike Costello hit an RBI double in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Costello is hitting .398 this year with 8 home runs and 21 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .444, 7 walks and scored 23 times. |
