Barrett Crushes 3 Homers Against Fresno Friday, July 9th , 2021 Three home runs usually equal a win, but not today at Suns Field. The Fresno Running Rebels beat the odds and also beat Eric Barrett and the Aurora Suns, 11-8. The hot-hitting Barrett had an historic day at the plate with three home runs, 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored, but no victory. "This game is special for me. It's an individual accomplishment," he said. "As a team we didn't have a good day, but the three homers make it better." Eric Barrett hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Currently Barrett is hitting .266 and has collected 14 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 29 times, while playing in 52 games. |
