Miami's Adams Down with Injury Monday, May 12th , 2025 Steve Adams has to call it a season. The Miami Boll Weevils reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Sonoma Scorpions and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Adams was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. This season, Adams has chalked up no saves, notched a 0-0 record with a 5.68 ERA, allowed 30 hits in his 25.1 innings of work, struck out 27 and walked 6. Opponents are hitting .300 against the Miami hurler. |
