Hialeah's Arias Will Miss Season Monday, July 5th , 2021 When Manny Arias was hurt against the Miami Boll Weevils, the Hialeah Firecats were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Arias would miss 13 months of the season. Arias has taken the hill for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-9 record with a 6.12 ERA. The Hialeah reliever has limited opposing batters to a .245 batting average. |
