E-AA Player of the Week Goes to Bunk of Libertyville Monday, July 5th , 2021 Jim Bunk is respected by most Libertyville Polecats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old shortstop went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern AA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .545 average (12-for-22) with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Bunk is batting at a .246 pace this season, picking up 65 hits in 264 at-bats with 21 home runs, 47 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
