Farris Holds Bears Scoreless Saturday, July 3rd , 2021 Kevin Farris came out firing strikes and, when the game ended, the Jackson Rebels hurler had struck out 8, leading Jackson past the Traverse City Bears, 8-0. Farris allowed just 3 hits in the ballgame. "I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said Traverse City manager Ray Johnson. On the season, Farris has compiled a 4-6 mark with a 2.59 ERA in 12 starts. In pitching 97.1 innings he has 101 strikeouts and 26 walks while limiting the opposition to a .197 batting average.
