Week's Premier Player: Washington's Gilchrist Monday, June 28th , 2021 Curtis Gilchrist is respected by most Washington Wildthings fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern AA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .370 average (10-for-27) with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. To date this year, Gilchrist is batting .283 with 20 home runs. |
