I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Todd Stevens struck out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Eddie Sarabia in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Eddie Sarabia in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Bill Samples in the 9th. This year, Stevens has socked 25 hits in 75 at-bats for a .333 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .390 pace and his totals also include 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
