Big Day for Antic: Swats 5 Hits Monday, June 10th , 2019 It was a big day for Tom Antic and he brought the Sonoma Scorpions along for the ride. Antic led his club to a 7-6 victory over the Miami Boll Weevils today at Ballpark of North Richland Hills, smoking Miami pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Tom Antic grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Dylan Diggs in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. Antic on the season is batting .240 with 8 home runs. His totals include 28 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 51 games. |
