Trimble Tosses No-Hitter Against Cincinnati Friday, June 4th , 2021 Devon Trimble really did a number on the Cincinnati Bombardiers at Ballpark of Oklahoma City -- and that number was zero. The London Tigers hurler had what he later called "one of the best moments of my life," tossing a no-hitter and leading the Tigers to victory, 3-0. "This is something special," Trimble said. "I knew from the fifth inning that I had a no-hitter working. I tried to get it out of my mind, but you just can't. They have too many scoreboards in the park. They're everywhere you look." The right-hander faced only 29 batters in the no-hit gem, struck out 11 and walked 1. "We simply couldn't get any wood on the ball," Cincinnati manager Nick Pauli said when asked about the epic performance. "Trimble was brilliant out there. He certainly had our number." To date this season, Trimble has a record of 7 wins and no losses and a 2.24 ERA. He has appeared in 13 games and struck out 66 in 64.1 innings. View Boxscore View Game Log |
