Cabriales Pounds 3 HR Against Boll Weevils Wednesday, June 2nd , 2021 Ruben Cabriales was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 18-0 Cincinnati Bombardiers triumph at Ballpark of Cincinnati. The 21-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Bombardiers past the Miami Boll Weevils. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Cabriales told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 4-for-6, rung up 9 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Ruben Cabriales grounded out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Mudge in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Brent Kuest in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off John Reynolds in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. Cabriales is batting .257 with 14 home runs and 32 RBIs this season. |
