Mountaineers Hurler Named April's #1 Starter Monday, May 1st , 2023 The April Pitcher of the Month has been chosen and the Eastern AA award went to Winchester hurler, Gilberto Cortez. During the month, Cortez was impressive with a 0.54 ERA and 3 wins and no losses. In 33.1 innings he struck out 34 and gave up 16 hits and 5 walks. |
