Brian Treadway Suffers Injury Sunday, April 30th , 2023 The Augusta Capitols will have to make do without Brian Treadway for 4-5 months. He suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Stockton Ragin Cajuns. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This year, Treadway has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-2 won-lost mark with a 2.57 ERA and fanned 19 batters in 28 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .231 clip in 2023. |
