This Week's Star Player is Hicks Monday, June 27th , 2022 22-year-old Eric Hicks sent shock waves through American Baseball Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the National Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Hicks made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .625 average, 15 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 runs batted in. Where the Maine Pines third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hicks certainly made his mark last week. In his 2022 season totals, Hicks has 4 home runs, .347 BA, .385 OBP, 26 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
