Blevins Scorches Invaders for 3 HR Monday, April 29th , 2024 Austin Desperados left fielder Matt Blevins had a magnificent game against the Oakland Invaders, rocketing three balls out of Howard Terminal to help the Desperados win, 14-2. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Blevins went 3-for-4 with 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Austin manager Adam Ponder said later. "Seems like Matt found his home run stroke today."
