Trouble in Cincinnati, Bloms Suffers Setback Tuesday, June 14th , 2022 Cincinnati second baseman Jay Bloms reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating a strained shoulder. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least 4 weeks before Bloms would be able to return to the active roster. Bloms will see a specialist tomorrow.
