Cincinnati's Kovach to Miss 7 Months Wednesday, April 17th , 2024 The season is finished for Kevin Kovach of the Cincinnati Royals. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Royals reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Philadelphia Marauders. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal.
