Lutz Takes AC's Best Bat Trophy Wednesday, June 1st , 2022 When Chris Lutz stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the American Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Detroit right fielder posted a .330 batting average with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Lutz also worked pitchers for 24 walks to post a .459 on-base percentage. So far in 2022 Lutz is batting .303 with 12 home runs, 35 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 56 hits in 185 at-bats and a .452 OBP. |
