"Ryan was just locating so well and using his pitches," Maine manager David Whigham said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Flamino recorded 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Daytona Beach manager Edwin Gomez said in postgame comments to BNN.
