Pierce Launches 3 HR for Marauders Saturday, May 14th , 2022 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Marauders Ballpark buzzing, Philadelphia Marauders left fielder Danny Pierce blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 8-7, over the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles. "Everything was clicking," Pierce told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Pierce shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 6 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Marauders manager Danny Ordaz said. "Danny played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Danny Pierce grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jon Haynes in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jon Haynes in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, flied out in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Fernando Hernandez in the 13th. For the year, Pierce is batting .265 with 11 home runs. |
