Eagles-Stars Trade: Pierskalla for Guzman Wednesday, May 11th , 2022 Indianapolis and Hollywood announced today in a joint press conference that 27-year old C Mike Pierskalla will be going to the Stars in exchange for 32-year old C David Guzman, a 1st round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. Pierskalla is currently batting .189 with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 111 at-bats. Thus far this year, Guzman has hit .080 with 1 home run and 2 RBIs. |
