World Champion Fleet Visit White House Tuesday, January 20th , 2026 Members of the world champion San Diego Fleet met with the President at the White House today. The President shook hands and posed for photos with players and coaches during the brief ceremony. He also took the opportunity to praise the Fleet for their teamwork and determination in winning the championship. Following the President's comments, manager Brian Burnett presented the commander-in-chief with his very own Fleet jersey. Prior to the ceremony, the team was given a tour of the White House. A highlight of the tour was a visit to the Oval Office, where shortstop Alfonso Sanchez and starting pitcher Rodrigo Lemus posed for pictures while seated at the President's desk. |
