San Francisco-Maine Trade: Boland for Miller Friday, May 3rd , 2019 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in San Francisco and Maine as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 16-year old minor league RHP Miguel Perez, 20-year old minor league RHP Stephen Boland, and a 6th round draft pick to the Pines and 33-year old LHP Nate Miller and 22-year old minor league C Mike Belsito to the Fire. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Maine GM. Maine will retain a portion of Miller's remaining contract. This season Miller has made 7 relief appearances and saved 2 games. His record is 0-1 with 7 strikeouts in 5.2 innings with a 15.88 ERA. |
