Pittman Injured, Day-to-Day Thursday, April 15th , 2021 Is Paul Pittman going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out one week as the outstanding San Diego third baseman attempts to shrug off back tightness he sustained running the bases against the Vancouver Mounties. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Pittman feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the San Diego Fleet will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. Pittman is currently hitting at a .349 pace with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. |
