Desperados Hansen Lost for Year Thursday, May 5th , 2022 The Austin Desperados were dealt a severe blow when Brent Hansen was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles. After the game, the team trainer reported Hansen might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old second baseman out for the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. They indicated it would take Hansen at least 10 months to heal. Currently Hansen is batting .173 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. |
