Boston Loses Nick Dragon for Season Saturday, April 30th , 2022 Nick Dragon has to call it a season. The Boston Whistlers reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Toronto Trash Pandas and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Dragon was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months.
So far this year, Dragon has delivered no saves. In 7 relief appearances he has 20 strikeouts in 19 innings with a 0.95 ERA and no wins and no losses.
