Week's Best Player Honored by AC Monday, April 25th , 2022 26-year-old Greg McManus sent shock waves through American Baseball Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the American Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, McManus made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .562 average, 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBI. Where the Tampa Bay Captains catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but McManus certainly made his mark last week. In the 2022 season McManus is hitting .341 with 3 home runs. |
