Jason Cox Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, March 22nd , 2026 The Syracuse Scorpions and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Jason Cox would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Cox was hurt in a recent game against the Detroit Giants while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn ulnar collateral ligament. His doctors think that Cox will miss about 14 months. |
