Austin Starting Pitcher Out Thursday, March 5th , 2026 Sam Campos of the Austin Desperados was injured in today's game against Syracuse and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a herniated disc, and he is expected to be out for up to 6 weeks. It happened while Campos was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." |
